International Program

Human formation is the development of a strong and virtuous character. Character formation is the foundation of the authentic leader. Everest seeks to form its students to be individuals of character and integrity, who act in accordance with personal convictions based on truth. The human formation program aims to aid students in forming virtue, self-confidence, and leadership skills.

Human formation encompasses the following areas:

  • Virtue formation
  • Conscience formation
  • Social etiquette
  • Personal hygiene
  • Appreciation for arts and physical fitness

Everest seeks to provide human formation during the course of the academic day through the following means:

  1. Virtue Program: The virtue program offers students, faculty, and parents a means to know, value, practice, and internalize virtues in a consistent and committed manner.
  2. Virtue Campaigns: A campaign is a formal activity to positively motivate students to develop and deeper the practice of virtue; human, spiritual, some form of apostolic initiative, or social etiquette.
  3. Formative Discipline: Everest offers a discipline system in which rules are not imposed, but rather students are motivated to understand, value, and internalize the expectations. Discipline expectations at Everest reflect virtue, proper habits, and principles of life. This system of discipline implies personal attention for each student as they learn to understand their actions and do what is right.
