“The fine-arts extracurricular activities, such as choir, band, and drama programs, help students understand the process and elements involved in artistic and creative expressions; enrich the students’ aesthetic and spiritual sensitivity, and foster an appreciation of the fine arts as a part of a balanced formation. Since these activities are regarded as valuable to the educational program, Everest International Program encourages participation as a complement to academic life.” – Student Handbook
Students in the middle school participate in art class once a week. During this class they learn about major artists and the history of art as well as new techniques. Their artwork is displayed at the end of the year during Fine Arts Night. Fine Arts Night is an evening that celebrates the musical and artistic accomplishments of the students throughout the year.
Students also have the possibility of participating in the drama club. The drama club puts on a spring musical. All students are welcome to try out for a part in the play.
